Sunny Simon Elected As Councilwoman
Sunny Simon elected as councilwoman in Cuyahoga County
Congratulations to Sunny M. Simon for winning the Cuyahoga County Council District 11 race! Not only did Sunny win the race, the animals won their advocate.

Sunny is a practicing attorney in Cleveland who always finds time to help animals who are in need. She has been a South Euclid council member for twelve years. She has provided pro bono legal services for animals protection groups as well as individuals who rescue and/or face legal issues involving their animals.
She has pushed for stricter animal cruelty laws as well as spay and neuter requirements and has spoken for those whose animals have been unjustly deemed as vicious.
Sunny's compassion for animals extends to all, including farmed animals. She has introduced legislation to eliminate battery cages for laying hens and has vehemently spoken out against Issue 2, an amendment to the Ohio constitution that places the power to define farmed animal cruelty in the hands of factory farming interests.
As founder of the South Euclid Humane Society, Sunny has helped to find homes for hundreds of dogs and cats.
